The Grand Canyon of Discounters! But this is a new kind of discounter, and you need to know before you visit ....
PRO:
- Inventory as far as you can see
- Discounted up to 50% (Retail price)
- Wide selection of every category from toys, furniture to appliances
CON:
- Buyer beware, not everything is new
- New, used and returned items
- NO RETURNS
SUMMARY:
You can find a good deal here. But sometimes you get what you pay for. Not everything is new and unused. You have to shop carefully. And NO NO NO returns. If you buy an appliance, they will plug it in but if you get it home and it doesn't work, you are stuck with it.
I Love this place the cashiers, employees, & security are friendly. The merchandise Great! And affordable. It has made my life easier by being able to afford what I couldn't afford before. It might take some time to find what I need but eventually I'll find it there. For me it's like my therapy. When I'm there I'll be lost there for hours my family knows not to bother me when im at daily deals Lol.
Originally started going to the store in Clovis, but they closed... only one location open now. As stated by others, it's the customers who tear through the packages 📦 who have ruined the shopping experience here. That said, more effort should be put in by the employees to remove trash 🗑 from the bins. Today's visit to the store was a waist of time because it took more effort to dig through the trash, making it impossible to find any deals. Bottom line, it was a great deal at first, but after the last two visits there, it's a waste!!!
Let's get straight to it.
This is an Amazon return, liquidation, pulled items store.
The higher priced items from the pallets/gaylords are most likely pulled and sold on eBay by the owners.
The prices drop daily. New stock is the most expensive, the price drops throughout the week. Don't expect new stock everyday.
For resellers, you'll notice Amazon's required labeling. In most cases there are no UPCs to scan.
The careless dumping of food products into other type items is just lazy and gross.
98% of all foodstuffs are expired, so check the expiration dates.
This is clearly a location where Chinese products go to die. But consider there are 2 of these locations in Fresno, now multiply that a hundred fold throughout the US. That is a lot of AZ product.
If you're looking to make money, be careful. Lots of non-licensed products. Meaning you cant list on any on-line site without jeopardizing your accounts.
But aside from the downsides, the absolute worse part of these bin type stores are the customers. From rude to pushy, don't care about ripping open boxes and leaving the item 5 feet away from the original packaging. Some parent allow their kids to run around, and tear through the bins for fun.
Upside, you can find decent stock for both personal use and reselling. Be mindful of cosmetics and consumables.
Under the circumstances, the staff does a decent job, considering the careless and flagrant attitudes of some customers. For example, the store prohibits the opening of sealed boxes in the bins. You can take it to the front and they will assist you.
I strongly recommend wearing latex gloves, and be mindful if sharp or broken glass items.
Regardless. I wiil be back. Spent 285 plus tax yesterday.
For the store: please stop throwing food items into bins with leaking lotions. Throw open boxes of food (no less than 10 open boxes of cereal).
Allow resellers to provide resale permit for tax purposes.
I love daily deals and never leave empty handed but the cashier made us leave 15-20 minutes before closing. I asked if they normally do that and the reason being my partner and I were the only customers in the store.. not good for business if you ask me. Maybe we were being discriminated by her because that’s exactly what it felt like. Do better with your employees Daily Deals or bring back the clovis location. Soo much better and friendlier.
It’s chaos in here lol. Not really any good deals on the stuff that’s worth buying. The rest of the stuff is just garbage. I was looking for a recliner and they were wanting way to much for all the cosmetic defects. Some were flat out used and still tagged way to high. I Ended up at big lots got a better deal
I go here to find stuff to resell. I've bought items for $12 that I turned around and sold for $120. I purchased a laser engraver for $200. Used it for a month then sold it for $600. That's my personal experience. It's hit and miss though. I would say the best bin store out of all the others in town. Also like another person mentioned, please remove food and liquid items that get all over stuff.
There’s absolutely no order here. People should be ashamed of themselves! pushing each other for garbage especially on Wednesday. Mothers bringing their newborns, not caring that their infants are being bumped around in the carts, being squished. Not stopping to console their kids if they are crying from being bumped around. Not keeping an eye on their kids, u can get smooshed here. Not enough security, absolute chaos. CHAOS WORST PLACE TO BRING YOUR KIDS.
10/25/23 update
For some reason the workers were pushing the bins to make the rows more narrow while customers are in there! making it impossible to pass through. Wednesdays they fill the bins with plastic and card board making it look like there’s stuff in there but there’s hardly anything. We bought juice from here before and the bottles were dirty on the inside.
